We are looking for an energetic Financial Controller to join our innovative and ambitious organization.

About LeydenJar

LeydenJar is a high-tech company, developing pure silicon anodes for a lithium-ion battery that will change the world. We are proud that, here at LeydenJar, we:

• boost Li-ion battery energy density by 70% by using 10x thinner anodes
• improved cycle life to >450
• achieved fast charging to 60% in under 10 min!

We are currently still in an R&D phase, but we are ready to start the actual production of anode foil. LeydenJar Plant One will open in 2026.

Your mission
This is a key position where you will be part of the finance team and you will support your colleagues to optimize all financial flows.

What you will do:

• be responsible for daily accounting activities;
• prepare monthly reporting;
• implement and maintain financial controls and procedures;
• identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and accounting processes;
• participate in finance related projects;
• collaborate with cross functional teams (legal, HR, R&D and operations).

About you:

• You are experienced and skilled in finance and/or accounting
• You have a HBO, university or an accountancy certificate
• You get energy from managing a high variety of activities and at the same time know how to prioritize well to ensure you make your deadlines
• You have a strong eye for detail, are discrete and able to work with sensitive data and information
• You are analytical, a great team player and willingly to learn
• You are fluent in English verbally as well as in writing.
