About the job
LeydenJar Technologies is developing a Li-ion (and solid state) battery solution. As LeydenJar's technologies are unique in the industry - 100% silicon film deposited on Cu substrate with PECVD deposition method - the success of our story significantly depends on the morphology of our 100% pure silicon Anode material. As a  PECVD scientist you will have a key roll in the development of the PECVD process that yield to world’s first class pure silicon Anode material.

For this you will be working together in a team of engineers. You will also connect to our batteries scientists to achieve your goals

You will be working on:

  • Improving productivity, stability, and quality or our core PECVD technology
  • Increasing our understanding of plasma chemistry of our PECVD process
  • Assist in designing and experimentally testing of new concepts to improve our plasma equipment and process
  • Specifying required material properties for specific application areas of the product
  • Building up cooperative global network between research institutes, universities, and LJT
  • Keep track on global developments on your topic
  • IP creation for newly developed products

Job requirements

About you:

  • You have thorough understanding on the various deposition methods. PECVD experience is a must.
  • You have gained more than 3-5 years recent experience in process development after completing your PhD
  • You have proven project management skills
  • In depth knowledge about PECVD and/or plasma physics
  • In depth battery knowledge is a plus
  • Your education: PhD on Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or plasma physics or plasma chemistry
  • You are an excellent team player and you enjoy working in a multi disciplinarian team.
  • You are fluent in English
