About LeydenJar

LeydenJar is a high-tech company, developing pure silicone anodes for a lithium-ion battery that will change the world. We are proud that, here at LeydenJar, we:

• boost Li-ion battery energy density by 70% by using 10x thinner anodes
• improved cycle life to >450
• achieved fast charging to 60% in under 10 min!

We are currently still in an R&D phase, but we are ready to start the actual production of anode foil. LeydenJar Plant One will open in 2026.

Your mission

As a Program Manager you are (primary) responsible for managing all aspects of various projects. You will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. As an experienced Program Manager you will provide leadership, bring in the knowledge and expand the capabilities of the team by establishing best practices, policies, project management methodologies, etc.

In this role you will:

• Determine and define project scope and objectives in consultation with LT
• Plan and manage resources needed in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resources needed
• Prepare and manage detailed project execution schedules and work plans
• Optimize the project cost and result, incl. identification of risks and opportunities;
• Ensure timely procurement and subcontracting and manage subcontracted scopes;
• Monitor progress and make adjustments if needed
• Provide updates on consistent basis to the different stakeholders about the progress
• Ensure adequate project controls;
• Ensure lessons learned are systematically captured;
• Report to the COO

About you:

• You have Bachelor/ Master's degree in business administration or equivalent;
• You have minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in a project management role;
• PMP certification is an advantage
• You have comprehensive understanding of complex multi-disciplinary projects;
• You possess excellent business acumen and ability to solve problems creatively
• You are familiar with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
• Your communication skills in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written are excellent
• You have the ability to work in a scaling up, multicultural and dynamic environment.
