We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Technician on our battery lab in Leiden (Netherlands) to boost productivity in analyzing the the quality and material properties.



About the Job

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and recording quality control (QC) measurements on materials and cells
  • Performing scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis on anode, cathode and separator materials
  • Following lab plans and carrying out tasks to remain on schedule
  • Assisting with certain tasks related to battery cell assembly in the lab
  • Adhering to standard procedures and utmost safety in the lab
  • Ensuring that the lab is a safe environment, by adhering to all Health, Safety and Security guidelines and procedures

Job requirements

What we expect from you:

And the following qualifications:

  • Applied science/College (MBO/HBO) degree in a technical discipline
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Experience as a technician in a chemical, mechanical or electrical lab environment is a plus
  • Experience with SEM or materials/chemical analysis is a plus
  • Experience with basic data input and data analysis is a plus
  • Experience with health and safety adherence
  • Good skills in MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint, and fine with learning new IT apps
  • You must be legally permitted to work in The Netherlands and live in a commutable distance from Leiden
