  • On-site
    • Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands
  • €5,000 - €6,000 per month
  • Production

Job description

At LeydenJar, we are building PlantOne, our first production facility for pure silicon anodes in Eindhoven. We are looking for an experienced Equipment Electrical Engineer who wants to take technical ownership in an environment where not everything has been defined yet.

You will work with our production equipment, electrical installations and plant utilities — from installation and commissioning to reliability, uptime and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You won't just maintain what is already there; you will help determine how things should be done.

What will you be doing?

You will join PlantOne during an important phase: new equipment and utilities are being installed and commissioned, while our existing production lines are already running.

You will:

  • Take ownership of electrical installations and compliance with Dutch regulations, including NEN 3140 and Scope 8.

  • Support the installation, commissioning and start-up of new production equipment.

  • Improve the reliability, uptime and performance of our vacuum deposition equipment.

  • Set up preventive and corrective maintenance and a strategy for critical spare parts.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvements together with production and engineering.

  • Manage contractors, suppliers and maintenance-related contracts.

  • Take responsibility for plant utilities, including HVAC, compressed air and process gases.

  • Provide technical input for future equipment and factory projects.

As PlantOne moves into full production, your focus will increasingly shift towards equipment reliability, performance and continuous improvement.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

We are looking for an engineer who likes being close to the equipment, enjoys solving technical problems and takes ownership.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.

  • Around 5+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing or machine-building environment.

  • Solid knowledge of industrial electrical installations and electrical safety.

  • Experience with electrical drawings, P&IDs, PLCs and industrial automation.

  • The ability to work independently and effectively with contractors and suppliers.

  • Good English communication skills. Dutch is important for working with local installers and inspectors.

Experience with vacuum systems, E-plan, Siemens or Pilz PLCs, CE/ATEX, CMMS, FMEA or HAZOP is useful, but we don't expect you to tick every box.
