Werkstudent / Working Finance Student (climate tech)

We are looking for an energetic Werkstudent / Working Finance Student (w/m) to help building our innovative and ambitious organization. 

About LeydenJar

LeydenJar is a high-tech company, developing pure silicone anodes for a lithium-ion battery that will change the world. We are proud that, here at LeydenJar, we:

• boost Li-ion battery energy density by 70% by using 10x thinner anodes
• improved cycle life to >450
• achieved fast charging to 60% in under 10 min!

We are currently still in an R&D phase, but we are ready to start the actual production of anode foil. LeydenJar Plant One will open in 2026.

Finance support 

We are looking for a super-driven and eager colleague to take our efforts to the next level. You will assist in general finance activities and deliver support to the team with projects. You report directly to the Financial Controller. 

You will be responsible for:

• Manage accounts receivables/payables
• Manage additional invoices and credit notes
• Reviewing declarations of service providers
• Preparing Management presentations
• Report on Finance KPIs
• General administrative tasks related to accounting & finance

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or currently enroll in University or HBO studying (Accounting or finance)
• Working experience min of 0-1 year in a similar field 
• Available parttime ( 1 or 2 days a week max)
• You have a strong eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills required.
• A great team player and always willingly to learn
• Proficiency in Dutch and English both oral and written.
